Day 1
Arrival, Cairo

When you arrive at Cairo International Airport for, your tour manager will be at the airport to meet you and assist you in any way they can, and then they will escort you in a private air-conditioned vehicle to the luxury hotel where you will be spending the night.

On arrival at the hotel, you will be assisted with check-in, and then your tour manager will confirm a pick-up time for the following day. Enjoy a free “Welcome Drink” on us at the hotel, and have the remainder of the day to yourself.

Day 2
Giza Plateau

Wake up and enjoy the sort of breakfast you would expect from a 5-Star hotel, and then shortly after you have finished, one of our tour representatives will meet you at the hotel, and you will be driven in air-conditioned comfort to Memphis, the ancient capital of the Old Kingdom. Here you will have some time for exploring the ruins, and then you will be driven to the ancient Sakkara necropolis to see the very first pyramid ever built, the Djoser Pyramid which is also known as the Step Pyramid.

After spending some time at Sakkara, you will then be taken for a nice lunch at a good quality restaurant at Giza. Once you have finished eating, you will visit Egypt’s most recognizable archeological attractions, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. While here, you will also visit the iconic Sphinx, and the fascinating Valley Temple that faces the Sphinx.

With a long and fascinating day behind you, your guide and driver will transfer you back to your hotel where you will once again be spending the night.

Day 3
Cairo

wonderful breakfast at your hotel, and then at the agreed time, your guide and driver will arrive at your hotel, and your day of sightseeing will begin. You first stop of the day will be at the amazing Egyptian Museum which is home to more than 250,000 genuine artifacts.

The Museum also houses the world’s largest collection of Egyptian art which covers a period of roughly 5,000 years. Your tour also includes admittance to the Museum’s Royal Treasures Room which houses all the jewelry and artifacts that were recovered from King Tutankhamen’s tomb after being buried for more than 3,500 years.

Once you have finished at the museum, your guide will take you for lunch, and after you have finished eating he and your driver will then transfer you to the Salah El Din citadel which was built in 1183 AD as a means to defend Cairo from the Crusaders. From here, enjoy a visit to Egypt’s famous Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, and after that, you will then be taken to see another three popular historical attractions, the Hanging Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the incredibly lively Khan el-Khalili Bazaar.

It should also be said that no trip to Cairo is complete without spending some time at the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar where traders have been selling their ware ever since the 14th century. If there is anything in particular you want to buy at the bazaar, your guide will be happy to help you find what you are looking for. Even if you don’t want to do any shopping, the bazaar is a great place to walk around, or to sit down for some coffee while you watch the locals going about with their daily lives.

Finally, with the sun fast approaching the horizon you will be escorted back to your hotel where you will be spending one more night.

Day 4
Luxor

breakfast at your hotel, and then at the time which was confirmed with you, you will check-out, and your tour manager will then escort you to the airport where you will be boarding a short flight to Luxor. When you arrive at the airport, another one of our tour representatives will be standing by to meet and greet you, and they will then escort you to the port where you will be boarding your 5-Star cruise ship. It is boats like this which help to make luxury tours to Egypt such a wonderful experience.

Shortly after boarding and checking in, you will be served you first excellent on-board lunch, and then once you and the other members in your group have finished eating, you will disembark for a tour on Luxor’s East Bank. First you will visit Karnak, the ruins of an ancient temple city. While this sprawling site consists mostly of ruins, there is still plenty to see. In fact, Karnak is Egypt’s second most visited ancient monument.

After your visit to Karnak, you will then be taken to see Luxor Temple, another ancient temple, and one which was never dedicated to any gods or goddesses. Enjoy some time exploring and taking photos, and then it will be time for you to return to the ship. Sit down to a wonderful dinner, and enjoy your first night’s sleep in your luxury cabin on the water at Luxor.

Day5
Luxor

breakfast being served from 06h00 onwards. Shortly after breakfast, you and the other members of your group will get together, and then you will be taken for a tour of Luxor’s West Bank. Here you will visit one of Egypt’s biggest treasures, Valley of the Kings. This is an ancient royal burial ground where archeologists have so far uncovered more than 60 ancient tombs, including the tomb of Ramses IV and the tomb King Tutankhamen.

After visiting the Valley of Kings, your next stop will be a visit to the Temple of Madinat Habu. You will then start making your way back to the boat, stopping briefly along the way to see the thought-provoking Colossi of Memnon.

Return to the vessel after your West Bank tour and then you will enjoy a 5-Star lunch onboard while you are sailing to Qena. Later in the day, everyone in your group will disembark, and you will be taken to visit the ancient Temple of Dendarah which was built to honor Hathor, the Goddess of music, love, and joy. After everyone has had enough time to explore this fascinating site, you will be transferred back to your cruise  with ample time to spare before dinner is served in the evening. Enjoy a fine dinner and a relaxing evening on the water in Qena.

Day 6
Luxor

Wake up to another fantastic breakfast on board the boat, and enjoy a nice peaceful cruise back to Luxor for some more unforgettable sightseeing.

Once back at Luxor, you will disembark for another fascinating excursion that will see you visiting the Valley of the Noble Tombs, Dier El Madina. This site was once a village that was inhabited by the craftsmen who built and decorated the royal tombs which you saw at the Valley of Kings during your first West Bank

After exploring this site for a while, you will move on to see the indescribable Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This rock-cut temple is one site which no visitor can afford to miss, hence the reason why it features in nearly all good quality Nile River cruises.

After your sightseeing tour ends, you will return to your Nile cruise in time for lunch, and then you will once again disembark, this time for another visit to the enchanting Luxor Temple.

Day 7
Edfu

This morning the Nile cruise will sail out of Luxor, and begin the journey to Edfu. Wake up to the gentle movement of the boat, and enjoy another hearty breakfast which will be served in the vessel’s luxurious dining area.

Spend the remainder of the morning doing as you wish, and then sit down for another excellent lunch shortly before or shortly after you arrive at Edfu. A little bit later in the day, you and the others in your group will disembark for a visit to the best preserved relic of the ancient world, the Temple of Edfu which was constructed to honor Horus the falcon-headed God.

After you have had ample time to explore this magnificent site, everyone will return to the boat, where another fabulous dinner will be served in the evening. Enjoy a wonderful night’s rest in your luxury cabin on the water in Edfu.

Day8
Aswan

Once again, wake up on the river, and enjoy another good on board breakfast while sailing peacefully towards Aswan. Spend the rest of the morning as you wish, and enjoy a good on board lunch at before disembarking in Aswan for a delightful excursion which will see you visiting the famous High Dam of Aswan, as well as the spectacular ancient Temple of Philae that was built to honor two goddesses, Hathor and Isis.

Later in the afternoon everyone will return to the Nile cruise with ample time to spare before the dining area opens for dinner at 19 h30. Tonight, will be spent on the water in Edfu.

Day 9
Aswan

the boat will leave Aswan quite early for a short cruise to Kom Ombo, with breakfast being served along the way. After breakfast, everyone will disembark at Kom Ombo and you will visit the fascinating Kom Ombo Temple which is essentially an ancient twin-temple complex that was built to honor two different Gods, Sobek the God of fertility and creator of the world, and Horus the falcon God.

After this wonderful excursion, you will be transferred back to the Nile cruise and it will start sailing back to Aswan. Lunch will be served will once again be served in the afternoon, followed by another fine dinner in the evening a good nights sleep in your cabin on the water at Aswan

Day 10
Aswan

Today once again kicks off with a tasty on board breakfast being served. This day is essentially a day for relaxation, although you can choose to go on an optional excursion to the strikingly magnificent Abu Simbel Temples. While we certainly do recommend this optional tour,

As with previous days, an excellent lunch will be served on board the Nile cruise along with another fine dinner in the evening.

Spend the last night of your Tours on the water at Aswan.

Day 11
Cairo

Wake up and enjoy one last breakfast on board the ship, and then sadly, it will be time for you to check-out and disembark. Once you have disembarked, one of our tour representatives will be standing by to meet you, and they will then transfer you to the airport where you will be boarding a short flight back to Cairo.
On arrival at the airport in Cairo, your tour manager will be there to meet you, and then he will escort you to International Departures. Unfortunately, even luxury travel to Egypt cannot last forever, so once your tour manager has assisted you in any way,he will then have to say goodbye and wish you a safe journey home.
